Is it embarrassing to join something like E-harmony? I am thinking of signing up. I don’t know about it though. I have never been one to care about dating or think about it too much. But lately, it is coming up. For some reason, Germans changed my mind on terms of love. I kind of don’t really believe is love, at least the love I see of my generation. People like my parents and their friends are inspirations but I am still skeptical of this thing called love between a man and a woman – nowadays. But I must admit, I am a bit curious.
I think I am just at a stage where I want to know what all the fuss is about. Also, I don’t want to be lonely later in life. I think! I am not lonely now at all. I am very busy and fill my life with so many things that I am very complete and fulfilled yet I want more. So, I -thought of joining e-harmony.
I always scorned these groups in the past. I thought they were sort of ridiculous but now I am wondering if it is something I should look into. But then I ask myself, ‘Can’t you find a man on your own?’ Clearly, no since I have been single forever so maybe a little bit of a push might be a good thing.
I have a lot of conflicting feelings about these connection groups so I am still deciding if it is something I would really want to do. Any thoughts on this?

I say go for it. If you don't try you will never know.
You know some people swear by it. I personally know a couple married from Match.com. Give it a shot. The fact that you are even thinking about it means you should do it.
If only to satisfy your curiosity about online dating and get yourself used to going on dates, I recommend signing up. I have signed up to some free sites without success; it may be time for me to commit financially to a site like e-harmony. I hear lots of good things about match.com too.
I know two couples, now married, who met on lavalife.
You will likely meet a number of frogs before you meet someone worth going on a date with...I suspect patience is the name of the online dating game.
